End Grain Coasters AGAIN

About eight years ago I made some end-grain coasters. I really like how they turned out, and thought it would be fun to make some more. These are made with a random assortment of think scrapwood strips that I've been saving, so they never turn out the same when making them. In that way, this project is always new.

In fact, I'm going to make two "blanks" of end grain coaster stock, so these will also differ from each other.

One thing I thought I'd try, in order to challenge myself and step things up a notch, is that I will wrap the coasters in a border of walnut, which I think will enhance the look.
