Walnut Entry Bench Plans

If you would like to build your own version of my Walnut Entry Bench these plans can help you to do so. The bench is 40 inches long, 15" wide, and a comfortable sitting height of 17-1/2 inches.
The plans consist of a 14 page PDF file, which contains Measured 3D and 2D drawings (plans) which contain all the measurements of the bench. As a bonus, traceable 1:1 plans are provided for the curved and notched leg components.
PLEASE NOTE: These are measured drawings along with some notes and guidelines. They do NOT contain detailed step-by-step build instructions. You can see the Bench being built in the youtube video in the above linked article, which shows the order I followed when building.
NOTES ABOUT 1:1 Plans: The 1:1 plans have a diagonal and square grid overlay to help you in assembling the pages together into one big plan. The grid squares are 1" on a side. You will need to ensure that your printer is printing at a true 100% in order to get an accurate plan. You can check this by first printing out a few pages and measuring the diagonal grid, and then making any needed adjustments on your print menu -- for example, setting it to print at 98% or 102% as needed -- and then testing again.

The PDF file is 1.2 MB in size, and should display on any computer equipped with a PDF viewer such as Adobe Acrobat (mac/win/linux) or Preview(mac).
