I needed to build a simple hat rack for our mudroom.
We already had one made with dowels, but I decided to make the new one with Shaker Pegs. This would match a key rack which we already had in that room. As well, I wanted to make it out of Cherry, again to match the key rack that is already in the mud room. There are also other Cherry accents in the room.
This is a quick weekend project: Glue up some boards, rip and dress them to size, drill some holes, pounds some pegs. A bit of rattle can lacquer and Bob's Yer Uncle.
